The Scheme

The Scheme Bharmour - II Hydro Electric Project is conceived as a run-off the river scheme for generation of 21.0MW (3X7MW) hydro power on Budhil Nala, a tributary of Ravi River.

The main components of the Scheme as planned are:
1. Intake Pool
2. Head Race Tunnel
3. Construction Adits
4. Surge Shaft
5. Steel lined Pressure Shaft trifurcating in to 3 nos of penstock near power house
6. Underground Power House to accommodate 3 units of 7MW each to generate power including Service Bay,
   Control Room etc.
7. Main Access Tunnel, Escape Tunnel etc
8. Tail Race Tunnel
9. Switch Yard
10. Transmission line
