Stage I

Bharmour Stage-I hydro electric project (BHEP-I) 24 MW (3X8 MW) has been conceived as run-of-river development for generation of hydropower on Budhil Nallah a tributary of Ravi River near Bharmour Village in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh.

BHEP-I is located on Budhil Nallah near Bharmour town.Bharmour is situated at an approximate distance of 78km northeast from the district Head quarters at Chamba is well connected by an all whether road from nearest rail head at pathankot and airport at Jammu.
